Description:
This directory browser can be of great use for designers who want to allow their clients to browse through an online directory containing their work in progress -thus allowing them to view not only web pages, but to view or download any type of file.
The directory browser interface is comparable to the Mac Finder in column view mode.
Requirements:
Your hosting server must support PHP.
Customization:
You can choose to password protect the directory browser, and you can choose the type of files (file formats) you want the directory browser to index.
Setup and Installation:
Upload the folder 'directory_browser' to your server, in the directory in which you want to be able to browse. For example, if you want to browse the contents of "http://example.com/porftolio/" upload "directory_browser" in "portfolio". Then go to "http://example.com/porftolio/directory_browser/" and start browsing.
